光绪元宝是清朝光绪年间流通的货币之一。由湖北两广总督张之洞率先引进英国铸币机铸造之铜元，之后各省纷纷仿效。共有十九个省局铸造，除中央户部，地方省所铸铜元，皆在其正面上缘镌写省名。此为户部中央政府版。

光绪元宝是大清光绪年流通大面值货币之首，是我国首批引进海外技术的印发流通货币，对于现今也蕴藏了一定历史意义。

大清铜币。铸造始于1900年(清光绪二十六年)，止于1911年(宣统三年)，流通时间较短。因其版面设计优雅，雕刻精良，且存世量极为稀少，大清铜币光绪年户部造当十被誉为中国近代制币中的十大名誉品之一。

大清铜币，学名清代机制铜圆，钱面中央有"大清铜币"四个汉字，内嵌一小字代表地名，上端是满文大清铜币"字样，两侧为年份。边缘中间分别"户部"二汉字，下端为"当制钱十文"。钱背中央为蟠龙，上端是"光绪)年造"，下端英文"Tai-Ching Ti-Kuo Copper Coin"字样(大清帝国铜币)。

此一组光绪元宝大清铜币，品相完整，铸造精美，钱币表面包浆醇厚自然，字迹清晰，图案形象栩栩如生，在钱币中实属精品，极具收藏价值。

Guangxu Yuanbao was one of the currency in Qing Dynasty during Guangxu period. The British coinage was first introduced by the Governor General of Hubei and Guangxi, Zhang Zhidong, and was followed by other provinces. A total of 19 provincial bureau casting, in addition to the central household department, the local province cast copper yuan, are engraved on the front edge of the provincial name. This is the central government version of Hubu. Guangxu Yuanbao, the first large-denomination currency in circulation in Qing Dynasty, is the first batch of printed and circulated currency that introduced overseas technology in China. Bronze coins of the Great Qing Dynasty. Casting started in 1900(Qing Guangxu twenty-six) , ended in 1911(Xuantong three years) , circulation time is short. Because of its elegant layout design, well-carved, and very rare, the Qing Dynasty copper coins Guangxu Hubu created when ten as one of the top ten modern Chinese coins. The bronze coins of the Qing Dynasty, the scientific name of the bronze circle mechanism of the Qing Dynasty, have the four Chinese characters "the bronze coins of the Qing Dynasty" in the center of the coin face, embedded with a small character representing the place name, at the top is the inscription "Manchu da Qing copper coins" , flanked by the year. The two Chinese characters of "Hubu" are respectively in the middle of the edge and "Dangqian Shiwen" is at the bottom. The central back of the money is a panlong, the upper end is "Guangxu" , the lower end of the English "Tai-Ching Ti-Kuo Copper Coin" words (the Qing Empire Copper coins) . This group of Guangxu Yuanbao da Qing copper coins, the product phase integrity, fine casting, the surface of the coins slurry mellow natural, clear handwriting, vivid images, in the coins is a boutique, great collection value.
