In the 33rd year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu, Beiyang made seven coins and two Fen silver coins, which were coined by Beiyang silver yuan Bureau (formerly known as Beiyang Machinery Bureau) in 1907. On the front of the silver coin, the central bead circle is full of Chinese characters of "Guangxu Yuanbao". The upper end of the bead circle is engraved with "made in Beiyang" in Chinese, and the lower end is engraved with the Chinese currency value of "Kuping seven coins and two Fen", with a dot on both sides. On the back of the silver coin, there is a picture of a dragon in the middle, a picture of the 33rd year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu in English on the upper ring, and a dot on the lower side of the left and right sides of the coin. Guangxu Yuanbao was one of the currency in circulation during the reign of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty. A total of 19 provinces and bureaus cast copper coins, except the central Hubu and local provinces. It is one of the first batch of printing and distributing currency to introduce overseas technology, which also has a certain historical significance for today.
"Guangxu Yuanbao" is an early machine-made coin in China. It is one of the top ten honorary products in modern China. It is commonly known as "Longyang". It is named after the dragon pattern on the back of the coin. It has important practical and historical significance, and combined with the late Qing Dynasty, the Republic of China war and other factors, some of the more precious Guangxu silver varieties have been rare, the collection value is high. The development of Beiyang's silver dollar reflected the advance and retreat of China's monetary policy in the late Qing Dynasty, and each disconnection also recorded a historical turbulence. Understanding the history of coinage and the changing process of mints can not only help us understand the historical value of silver dollar, but also improve our understanding of the types, color, dragon pattern and tooth edge features of silver dollar in different periods.
It is understood that the collection of coins is generally divided into paper money, gold and silver commemorative coins and ancient coins, among which silver dollar has always been a hot spot. Because silver is precious in material and of high artistic value. Beiyang Machinery Bureau first coined silver coins in the 15th year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu, with a face value of only "one yuan". It was a sample silver coin made by Tianjin government. It was not in circulation until the 22nd year of Guangxu. In the 22nd year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty, Beiyang machinery bureau made it in five denominations: one yuan, five jiao, two jiao, one jiao and half type. It is a kind of Chinese silver coin with yuan as its organization. In July 1903, it was proposed that silver coins should be made exclusively by the general mint, with Nanyang (Jiangnan), Beiyang, Guangdong and Hubei as branches. The silver coin is precious in material and of high artistic value. It is made of precious metal or silver alloy. It is exquisitely made, with exquisite patterns and elegant characters,

The collection is exquisite in appearance and unique in aesthetic personality. The blending of Manchu and Han culture can be seen on the front of coins, while the intervention of western culture is clearly indicated on the back of coins. It has a very high investment value and preservation value. It is a high value innovative cultural relic with far-reaching significance of commemoration of pre history. At the same time, it is also a valuable thing in Archaeology and research of China's pre history culture. Guangxu Yuanbao is a special kind of money and silver in the Guangxu period of Qing Dynasty. It has the characteristics of money and silver in the Qing Dynasty. Because of its unstable situation, there are special money and silver forging factories in almost all provinces of the country. Therefore, we will find that the coins and silver of that era have obvious characters indicating which provincial Mint forged them.

In the center is a picture of the dragon. The dragon is lifelike, with bright eyes and vivid shapes. When it is leaping, its posture is strong and powerful, and its claws are flapping. The dragon body is perched in the sun. It is full of royal majesty. It is also called "Pearl Dragon" because of its unique scales with dragon patterns on its back, such as inlaid pearls. As can be seen from the pictures, both the characters and the ornaments are very exquisite, with distinct convex and concave shapes. The strokes and decorative lines of the characters are round and round, which shows that the stamping force of the die is deep-seated, resulting in the incomparable exquisite appearance of the products, and its technological level is still beyond the level of forgery so far.
